Compressed Knitted Mesh – Industrial Gasket Material

Compressed knitted mesh is made by knitting metal wire (or synthetic filament), then compressing and forming it into rigid or semi‑rigid blocks, rings, cylinders, gaskets or custom shapes. The compression process increases density and strength while preserving a tortuous internal structure with controlled porosity, giving it excellent filtration, energy absorption and sealing performance.

It can be produced from stainless steel, galvanized steel, copper, brass, aluminum, Monel, Inconel, nickel and other alloys, as well as PPS, PTFE and other polymers. By adjusting wire diameter, knitting pattern and compression ratio, the mesh’s stiffness, permeability and recovery can be tailored to specific applications.

High‑Strength, Multi‑Functional Mesh Media

Compressed Knitted Mesh

Compressed knitted mesh is made by knitting metal or synthetic wires into a mesh fabric and then compressing it into rigid or semi‑rigid shapes such as rings, blocks, cylinders or custom forms. The compression process increases density and mechanical strength while maintaining a high void ratio, giving excellent flow characteristics, vibration resistance and particle‑retention capacity.
