Wire Mesh Demister Pad – Mist Elimination
High‑Efficiency Wire Mesh Demister Pads for Liquid–Gas Separation and Mist Elimination

Wire Mesh Demister Pad – Mist Elimination
Wire mesh demister pads (also called mist eliminators or mesh pad demisters) are highly efficient separation devices installed at the top of process vessels, towers and scrubbers. They are made from multi‑layer knitted wire mesh packed to a specified density and often supported by grids. As vapor containing liquid droplets passes through the pad, the droplets collide, coalesce and grow, then fall back under gravity, achieving efficient liquid–gas separation.
They are widely used in chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, metallurgy and environmental protection industries to remove entrained liquid droplets, protect downstream equipment and improve product purity.

High‑Efficiency Liquid–Gas Separation
Wire Mesh Demister Pad
A wire mesh demister pad (mist eliminator) is a structured bed of knitted metal or plastic mesh used to remove fine liquid droplets from gas streams. As gas passes through the pad, droplets collide with the mesh, coalesce into larger drops, and drain back under gravity, delivering cleaner, drier gas with minimal pressure drop.
For Towers, Vessels & Process Equipment
Custom‑Made Mist Eliminators
Wire mesh demister pads are widely used in distillation, absorption and scrubbing towers in chemical, petroleum, fertilizer, pharmaceutical and environmental protection industries. They help reduce product loss, improve product purity and protect downstream equipment from corrosion and fouling. Available in stainless steel (304/316L), Monel, nickel alloys and PP/PTFE for corrosive media, they can be supplied in various thicknesses.

Wire Mesh Demister Pad
A wire mesh demister pad is a packed bed of knitted metal (or plastic) mesh used to remove liquid droplets (mist) from a gas stream. As gas passes through the mesh, droplets impact, coalesce, and drain back, delivering a much drier gas at the outlet. It’s a standard internals component in towers, scrubbers, and separators.
