Tungsten Filament – High Temperature Wire Mesh

Tungsten filament is drawn from high‑purity tungsten wire, featuring an extremely high melting point (~3,400 °C), excellent high‑temperature strength, low vapor pressure and good electrical conductivity. These properties make tungsten the mainstream material for filaments operating in vacuum or protective atmospheres.
The filament can be made in straight, single‑coil or double‑coil (coiled‑coil) forms, with wire diameter, coil pitch, mandrel diameter and overall length tailored to required voltage, wattage and brightness/temperature characteristics. Surface condition and doping (e.g. potassium‑doped non‑sag tungsten) can be optimized for long life, high luminous efficiency and resistance to deformation at elevated temperatures.

Ultra‑High Melting Point Filament

Tungsten Filament

Tungsten filament is a fine wire made from high‑purity tungsten, valued for its extremely high melting point, excellent creep resistance and good electron emission performance at elevated temperatures. It maintains strength and dimensional stability when white‑hot, making it ideal for applications that demand sustained incandescence or heating.
